Ways to Give

You may enjoy significant tax benefits by donating marketable securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds to Dripping Springs Education Foundation. To make your gift of securities:

ADVISE DRIPPING SPRINGS EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF THE GIFT:

Please contact admin@dseducationfoundation.org with the designation of your gift (how you want your gift to be used; General Fund or specific initiative), the number of shares, and the identity of the security. To ensure efficient processing of the gift, it is very important to provide the information above. This is our only way of knowing who gifted securities to us as this information is generally not provided by your broker or wire transfer service.

Ask your broker to make an electronic transfer of the shares to Dripping Springs Education Foundation’s brokerage account at Fidelity.  You will most likely need the following information:

• Name of Receiving Firm: Fidelity Investments
• Account Number: #Z40-056303
• DTC number: 0226
• Account Registration: Dripping Spring ISD Education Foundation DBA Dripping Springs Education Foundation
• Name and Phone Number of Receiving Firm: Fidelity Investments 800-544-6666

Once the securities are transferred into Dripping Springs Education Foundation’s account and you’ve notified us (see above), we will receive notification of the transfer and a receipt will be sent to you. The effective date of the gift for this method is the date the shares are placed into our account.
